GUIDE FOR BUYERS: We advise all bidders to read the Terms and Conditions established in this catalog. All bidders are bound by these Terms and Conditions, as amended by any oral announcement or posted notice, which jointly form the contract of sale between the successful bidder (purchaser), Brown Auction Service and the seller (consignor) of the lot. Terms of Sale: Your bid indicates your understanding and acceptance of the following Terms of Sale: Condition of Items Brown Auction Service will make every effort to accurately describe all items offered in its sales, however all items are “As Is, Where Is” and it is the bidder’s responsibility (whether present or absentee) to determine the exact condition of each item. Brown Auction Service will not be held responsible for typographical errors. All items will be available for preview prior to the auction. Rights & Responsibilities The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The auctioneer, at his or her sole discretion, has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary due to a dispute. Brown Auction Service and our designated representatives reserve the right to remove any individuals who impede the previews and/or the auction. Ownership of all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder when the Auctioneer says "Sold". The buyer will then assume all risk and full responsibility for the item(s). Buyer’s Premium A 10% buyer’s premium will be applied to all winning bids and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase cost. All items are to be paid for in full at the close of the auction. Sales Tax The buyer will pay Minnesota State Sales Tax of 6.785% unless a valid Tax Exemption Identification is presented. NOTE: Please bring a copy of your Tax Exemption Identification for the sale. Credit Card/Debit Card Purchases A 4% courtesy fee is charged on all purchases made with either a credit card or debit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover. Shipping Packaging, shipping of, and insurance on items will be available to successful bidders. These costs will be billed separately and are non-refundable. Items will ship 2-3 days after payment is received. Absentee bidding forms may be accessed online. If there are two (2) identical bids from absentee bidders, priority is given to the first bid received.
